Description
The dry verge cap starter and end pack is used to finish the start and end points of a Universal Dry Verge installation. Each pack includes verge end closures and blanking plates for a neat, secure and protected roof verge finish.
This pack is designed for use with Easy-Trim Verge U dry verge units. The starter piece closes the verge at eaves level, while the blanking plate finishes the final verge unit near the roof apex. Together, they help protect exposed verge details from water ingress, birds and insects.
Made from UV stable polypropylene, these dry verge accessories are lightweight, durable and suitable for new roofing, re-roofing and refurbishment work where a mortar-free verge system is being installed.
Dry Verge Cap Starter and End Pack
The dry verge cap pack helps complete a dry verge run at both key points of the roof verge. It gives the installation a tidier finish and helps close exposed gaps at the bottom and top of the verge.

Fitting a Dry Verge Cap Pack
Start by installing the tiling battens with the correct overhang. Then position the starter piece at the bottom edge of the roof verge. Mark the fixing position on the fascia or barge board, then mechanically fix the starter piece in place.
The first verge unit can then slide into the starter unit before being fixed through the nail grid. At the top of the verge run, the blanking plate can be fitted over the final verge unit grid to give a cleaner finish.
