Description
The 200mm bend 90° single socket is an underground drainage fitting used to change the direction of 200mm pipework. It is suitable for larger foul water and surface water drainage systems where a main pipe run needs a right-angle change of direction.
This 200mm underground drainage bend is designed for compatible PVC-U underground drainage pipework. The 90° / 87° nominal bend angle is commonly used where a larger change of direction is needed within a planned drainage layout.

200mm Bend Single Socket Connection
This 200mm bend has one socketed connection for compatible 200mm underground drainage pipework. The other end can be connected into a suitable 200mm socket, coupler or drainage fitting depending on the pipe layout.
Before installation, check the pipe route, fall direction and bend position. The bend should sit correctly within the trench and should not be forced into poor alignment. If the route does not line up correctly, adjust the pipework or use suitable additional fittings.
Use suitable pipe lubricant on ring seal joints where required. Make sure pipe ends are clean before jointing. If pipework is cut to length, make a clean square cut and chamfer the edge before fitting. This helps protect the seal and makes the joint easier to assemble.
