Description
The flexible drainage bend 110mm to 4 inch is used to create a 90 degree connection between compatible drainage pipes. It is useful where a rigid bend is difficult to install or where slight movement, tight access or pipe alignment needs to be allowed for.
This VIPSeal VER118 90 degree elbow is designed for pipe outside diameters from 106mm to 118mm. It is commonly used with compatible 110mm and 4 inch drainage, waste or low pressure pipework where the pipe size falls within the stated range.
The flexible EPDM rubber body and stainless steel bands help create a secure connection when tightened correctly. As a result, it is a practical option for repairs, alterations and awkward drainage connections.

The flexible drainage bend helps connect pipework where a 90 degree change of direction is required. It can be useful on repair jobs, tight access areas and drainage layouts where pipe alignment is not ideal.
Before installation, measure the outside diameter of the pipe. The VIPSeal VER118 size range is 106mm to 118mm, so both pipe ends must fall within this range.

VIPSeal VER118 Flexible 90 Degree Elbow
This flexible drainage bend is part of the VIPSealPlumb range. VIPSeal lists the VER elbow range for domestic and commercial plumbing applications, with the VER118 covering 106mm to 118mm pipe outside diameters.
The flexible body can help join plain-ended pipework where a standard rigid bend does not suit the connection. However, the pipe ends must be clean, supported and correctly aligned before tightening.
Use a torque setting of 6Nm when tightening the stainless steel bands. Do not over-tighten the clamps, as this may damage the fitting or affect the seal.
Flexible Drainage Bend Installation Use
Install the flexible drainage bend as part of a properly supported drainage connection. The pipe ends should be cut square, cleaned and pushed into the elbow to the correct depth.
Next, position the clamps evenly over the pipe ends. Then tighten the bands to the correct torque and check that the fitting sits securely.
This product is a flexible 90 degree elbow only. Additional pipe, couplers, adaptors or drainage fittings may be required depending on the job.
