Description
The Freefoam FWDC square fascia end cap provides a neat, colour-matched finish at the exposed end of a square fascia board. Supplied in a 300mm length, the trim can be measured and cut down to match the width of the fascia being installed.
Manufactured from durable, low-maintenance uPVC, the FWDC is compatible with Freefoam FW 10mm capping fascia and FMS 18mm replacement fascia. It conceals the cut edge of the board and helps complete box ends, gable ends and other terminating roofline details.

Square Fascia End Cap Colours
The FWDC square fascia end cap is stocked in White, Black Ash Woodgrain, Anthracite Grey Woodgrain and Agate Grey Woodgrain. Select the required finish from the colour menu before adding the product to your basket.
Match the end cap to the adjoining fascia board wherever possible. Check components obtained at different times before installation because minor shade or woodgrain variations can occur between separate manufacturing batches.
Compatible Square Fascia Boards
Use this end cap with our 10mm capping fascia boards when covering an existing sound timber fascia or an appropriate backing board.
The FWDC is also compatible with our 18mm replacement fascia boards on full-replacement and new-build roofline projects. Confirm the fascia profile, board width and selected colour before cutting the end cap.
Cutting the Square Fascia End Cap
Measure the full depth of the fascia and mark the required length on the FWDC. Cut the trim using a suitable fine-toothed PVC saw, remove any cutting debris and test it over the board end before completing the installation.
A clean and accurate cut will help the end cap sit neatly against the fascia. Avoid removing too much material during the first cut; the trim can be reduced gradually until the required fit is achieved.
Installing the Square Fascia Cap
Position the end cap so that it fully conceals the exposed fascia edge. Install it in accordance with the applicable Freefoam guidance while allowing for the normal expansion and contraction of uPVC roofline products.
Do not rigidly fix the trim in a way that restricts thermal movement. Check that the end cap remains straight, secure and correctly aligned with the face and lower return of the fascia board.
Completing the Fascia Installation
Combine the FWDC square fascia end cap with matching external corners, internal corners and fascia joiners. Using colour-coordinated accessories helps cover exposed edges and gives the completed roofline a clean, consistent appearance.
