Freefoam 400mm Capping Fascia Board
This Freefoam 400mm capping fascia board is a 10mm-thick PVC-UE cover board supplied in a 5-metre length. Choose from White, Black Ash Woodgrain, Anthracite Grey Woodgrain or Agate Grey Woodgrain.
The extra-wide 400mm profile provides substantial coverage for deep fascia areas, box ends, large reveals and exterior finishing work. It creates a durable, low-maintenance surface that is suitable for traditional and contemporary properties.

Using a 400mm Capping Fascia Board
The 400mm capping fascia board is primarily designed to cover existing timber that remains dry and structurally sound. Its extra-wide profile is particularly useful where a standard-width fascia board would not provide enough coverage.
The board may also be used for constructing and finishing box-end areas. It can cover larger window or door reveals and may be used as a general exterior finishing board where the dimensions and profile are suitable.

Check the Existing Timber
Inspect all existing timber before fitting a capping fascia board. Do not cover timber that is wet, rotten or structurally damaged. Defective material should be removed before the roofline work begins.
If the existing fascia must be removed completely, choose an appropriate 18mm replacement fascia board. Replacement fascia is designed to form the main roofline board instead of covering existing timber.
Accessories and Installation
Use suitable colour-matched fixings and leave the correct allowance for expansion. Extra care should be taken when handling and fitting this wide profile. Fixing centres and expansion gaps must follow the current installation guidance.
