Freefoam Cladding Drip Trim 5m White
The Cladding Drip Trim helps direct rainwater away from window heads, door openings and other vulnerable areas in a Freefoam external cladding installation. This genuine Freefoam FC206 profile is manufactured from durable White uPVC and supplied as one full 5m length.
It is suitable for use with Freefoam FC151 Standard Shiplap and FV100 Open V cladding. The projecting drip edge encourages water to fall clear of the opening rather than tracking back towards the cladding, window frame or supporting structure.

Where to Use the Cladding Drip Trim
The FC206 trim is normally positioned above windows, doors and other openings where water needs to be directed away from the face of the building. It may also be used at other horizontal termination points where a defined drip edge is required.
Correct positioning helps reduce water running onto frames and vulnerable junctions. The trim should form part of the complete weather-management design and must not replace correctly installed membranes, flashings or seals.
How to Install the Cladding Drip Trim
Fit the profile to a level and properly supported substrate before installing the adjoining cladding boards. Make sure the projecting edge faces away from the building so rainwater can drain clear of the surface below.
Cut the trim using a suitable fine-toothed saw and support it correctly along its full length. Follow current Freefoam installation instructions and retain the required expansion clearances around the surrounding cladding boards.

White FC206 Drip Profile
The FC206 is manufactured in White rather than separate colour-matched woodgrain finishes. Depending on the installation position, much of the profile may be concealed by the cladding or positioned above an opening.
A published merchant specification gives an approximate width of 35mm and material thickness of 2.5mm. These dimensions have not been independently confirmed by Freefoam, so check the physical profile before relying on them for a particularly tight installation detail.

Ordering the Correct Quantity
Each product contains one 5m length. Measure the combined width of every window, door and horizontal opening that requires a drip profile. Allow extra material for cutting, overlaps and installation waste.
Store the trim flat and properly supported before installation. Avoid leaving unwrapped uPVC profiles exposed to strong sunlight before they are fitted.
