Freefoam 2 Part H Trim for Cladding Joints
The 2 Part H Trim creates a neat vertical or horizontal joint between two lengths of Freefoam external cladding. This genuine Freefoam FC3153 joining profile has a two-part clip-together construction and is supplied as one 3m length.
It is designed for FC151 Standard Shiplap and FV100 Open V cladding. The base section is installed before the cladding boards, while the colour-matched cover clips into position after the boards have been fitted. This conceals the cut board ends, expansion clearance and installation fixings.

Where to Use the 2 Part H Trim
The trim is particularly useful when a cladding elevation is longer than the available board length or where a planned dividing line is required. It can also provide a clean break between separate sections of matching cladding.
Unlike the small FC210 butt joint, this H trim forms a continuous 3m jointing line. It is therefore suitable when several board ends need to meet in the same position across an installation.
How the Freefoam 2 Part H Trim Works
Fix the rear section to suitable supporting battens before installing the cladding boards. Cut the boards to the required length and position their ends inside the channels on either side of the base. Allow the expansion clearance specified in the current Freefoam installation guidance.
After the boards have been fixed, cut the front cover to length and clip it securely into the base. The cover hides the board ends, clearances and fixings to create a straight and consistent joint.

2 Part H Trim Colours and Finishes
Select White, Black Ash, Anthracite Grey or Agate Grey. White has a smooth gloss finish, while Black Ash, Anthracite Grey and Agate Grey have a woodgrain surface designed to coordinate with the corresponding Freefoam cladding boards.
Anthracite Grey is Freefoam’s nearest equivalent to RAL 7016. Agate Grey is the nearest equivalent to RAL 7038. Screen colours can vary, so use a physical Freefoam sample where an exact colour match is important.

Ordering the Correct Quantity
Each product contains one 3m trim. Measure the complete length of every planned joining line and allow additional material for cutting and installation waste.
Check the position of every joint before beginning the installation. The base profile must be securely supported by suitable battens along the complete jointing line.
