Freefoam External Corner Trim for Shiplap Cladding
The External Corner Trim provides a neat, colour-matched finish where two Freefoam cladding elevations meet at an external corner. This genuine Freefoam FC3043 profile has a two-part clip-together construction and is supplied as one 3m length.
It is designed for Freefoam FC151 Standard Shiplap and FV100 Open V cladding. The base section is installed before the cladding boards, while the finishing cover clips into place after the boards have been cut and fitted. This conceals the board edges and installation fixings to produce a clean corner detail.

How the External Corner Trim Works
The rear section of the trim is secured to the supporting corner battens before the cladding boards are installed. The adjoining boards are cut to the required length and positioned into each side of the trim, leaving the correct allowance for thermal expansion.
Once the boards are secure, the colour-matched front cover clips onto the base. This two-part design hides the cut edges and fixings while creating a consistent finish along the full height of the external corner.
Freefoam recommends using suitable battens, ventilation profiles and cladding screws as part of a correctly prepared installation. Always follow the current manufacturer fitting instructions and maintain the required expansion clearances.

Available Colours and Finishes
Select White, Black Ash, Anthracite Grey or Agate Grey from the colour menu. White has a smooth gloss surface. Black Ash, Anthracite Grey and Agate Grey have a woodgrain finish designed to coordinate with the corresponding Freefoam cladding boards.
Agate Grey is Freefoam’s nearest equivalent to RAL 7038, while Anthracite Grey is the nearest equivalent to RAL 7016. Colour appearance can vary between screens, so compare against a physical Freefoam sample when an exact colour match is important.

Ordering the Correct Quantity
Measure the full height or length of every external corner requiring a trim. Each product contains one 3m length. Allow additional material for cuts, mitres and installation waste where necessary.
