Description
Reveal Liner for Fortex Cladding
The Reveal Liner creates a neat, colour-matched finish around recessed windows, doors and similar openings within Freefoam Fortex cladding. Its wide PVC section covers the reveal, while the clip-on front channel conceals the cut edges of the surrounding cladding boards.
This genuine Freefoam accessory provides a practical alternative to covering deep reveals with several separate trims. It creates a clean return from the face of the cladding towards the window or door frame.
Delivery & Collection
Special-order product with an estimated lead time of 1–2 weeks. Available via Local North East Delivery or Store Collection only.
How the Reveal Liner Works
The FC319E3 consists of a wide reveal section and a separate clip-on finishing channel. First, cut and fix the main section around the recessed opening. The surrounding Fortex boards can then be installed while leaving the expansion clearance required by Freefoam.
Once the cladding is secure, clip the colour-matched finishing section into position. This covers the cut board edges and creates a straight border around the opening. Finally, seal the junction beside the window or door frame with a suitable low-modulus external sealant where required.

Where to Use a Reveal Liner
This profile is designed for openings where the window or door frame sits behind the finished face of the cladding. The wide liner covers the recessed return and meets the frame to form a tidy, weather-resistant detail.
Typical applications include window reveals, entrance doors, patio doors and other recessed openings. It can also be used where a wide PVC return is needed beside a clad elevation.
Compatible Fortex Cladding
The liner is available in colours that match the Freefoam Fortex embossed cladding range. This allows it to be used with compatible Double Shiplap, Feather Edge and Shadow Gap installations.
The product has a smooth surface rather than the embossed wood-effect finish of the main cladding boards. Therefore, it creates a defined and easy-to-clean border around the opening.

Measure the depth and height of the reveal before cutting the liner. Provide suitable support behind the profile and ensure the area around the opening is straight and secure.
