Internal Corner Trim for Fortex Cladding
The Internal Corner Trim provides a neat, colour-matched finish where two Fortex-clad walls meet at an internal 90-degree corner. Its two-part design covers the cut board edges and installation fixings, giving the completed cladding a clean and professional appearance.
This genuine Freefoam trim is suitable for domestic, commercial and renovation projects. It can be used around internal wall returns, recessed entrances, alcoves, dormers and other areas where two clad surfaces meet at an inward-facing corner.

How the Internal Corner Trim Works
First, fix the rear section of the trim to suitable supporting battens before installing the cladding. The Fortex boards are then cut and positioned inside each side of the profile. Once the boards are secure, the colour-matched front section clips into place. As a result, the cut edges and installation fixings remain hidden.
The two-part construction also makes it easier to fit the boards accurately. There is no need to slide a complete 3m corner profile over the ends of the installed cladding.

Compatible Fortex Cladding
The trim is designed for use with Freefoam Fortex embossed cladding systems. These include Fortex Double Shiplap, Feather Edge and compatible Shadow Gap installations. Choose a trim colour that matches the selected boards for a consistent finish across the completed elevation.
The trim has a smooth surface rather than the embossed finish used on the main cladding boards. This creates a defined and tidy border around the corner without copying the wood-effect grain of the boards.

Installation Guidance
Provide suitable supporting battens at both sides of the internal corner. Fix the base section before installing the surrounding cladding boards. Allow the ventilation and expansion clearances stated in the Freefoam fitting instructions.
After fitting the boards, cut the front cover to the required length and clip it into the fixed base. Use suitable corrosion-resistant cladding screws throughout the installation. Finally, check that the cover is fully engaged along the entire corner.
