The Fortex External Corner Trim provides a clean, colour-matched finish where two external cladding elevations meet at a 90-degree corner. Its two-part construction conceals the cut board edges and installation fixings for a neat, professional result.

How the Fortex External Corner Trim Works
The rear section of the trim is fixed to the supporting corner battens before the cladding boards are installed. The Fortex boards are then fitted into the trim while allowing the required expansion clearance. Once the cladding installation is complete, the colour-matched front section clips into position to cover the board edges and fixings.

Installation Guidance
Install suitable supporting battens at the external corner. Fix the base section of the trim before fitting the cladding boards. Maintain the ventilation and expansion clearances specified by Freefoam, then cut and clip the second section into place after the surrounding boards have been installed.
Use suitable corrosion-resistant cladding screws and always follow the current Freefoam installation guidance.
