Fortex 2 Part Edge Trim 3m
2 Part Edge Trim for creating a neat finish at the end of a compatible Fortex cladding run. The profile includes a fixing base and a colour-matched clip-on cover that conceals cut board edges and fixings.
Special-order product – we do not normally hold this range in stock. The usual lead time is approximately 1–2 weeks.
How the 2 Part Edge Trim Works
First, fix the rear section to the supporting battens before installing the cladding boards. The board ends then locate inside the profile with the required space for movement.
Next, clip the colour-matched cover into place. As a result, the trim hides the cut edges and fixings while creating a clean end to the cladding run.

Compatible Fortex Cladding Profiles
Freefoam lists this trim for use with Fortex Double Shiplap and Feather Edge Weatherboard cladding. It provides a finished edge where a board run ends against an opening, return or other exterior detail.
Shadow Gap compatibility is not independently confirmed for this profile. Therefore, check the Freefoam installation specification before using it with Shadow Gap boards.
Where to Use an Edge Trim
Use the profile at exposed ends of a clad elevation. It may also be required beside windows, doors and other openings, depending on the installation layout.
Always fit the base section before the boards. Also leave the expansion space required by the current Freefoam fitting guide.

Choosing Your 2 Part Edge Trim Colour
Select the colour that matches your Fortex cladding boards. Quantity 1 equals one complete 3m fixing base and clip-on cover.
First, measure every exposed board edge. Then allow additional material for cuts and separate elevations.
Colours may appear differently on individual screens. Therefore, check a physical Freefoam colour sample when an exact match is important.
