McAlpine P10 is a 32mm / 1¼” shallow bath trap for bath waste installations. It is designed for use with McAlpine bath wastes and is a practical choice where a compact, low-profile trap is needed below the bath.
McAlpine P10 Trade Overview
The McAlpine P10 bath trap is designed for standard domestic bath waste pipework. Its shallow trap body helps when working in restricted spaces below a bath, especially where there is limited clearance between the underside of the bath and the floor.
This trap has a 19mm water seal and a fixed trap design. It is suitable for bath waste applications where a shallow trap is required, rather than a deeper basin trap with a 75mm seal. The white polypropylene body gives a durable and lightweight fitting for everyday plumbing work.
The P10 includes a Multifit compression outlet. This connection is designed to suit common waste pipe materials including plastic, copper and lead pipe, which makes it useful for both new bath installations and replacement work.

Installation Notes

Tighten the compression nut securely by hand, then run water through the bath waste and check all joints for leaks.
The McAlpine P10 is a shallow bath trap with a 19mm water seal. For basin installations, use a suitable 32mm basin trap instead.
