McAlpine A10AR-CP is a 32mm / 1¼” chrome-plated plastic resealing adjustable bottle trap for basin waste installations. It is designed for bathrooms, cloakrooms, vanity units and exposed basin pipework where a chrome finish and adjustable fitting are required.
McAlpine A10AR-CP Trade Overview
The McAlpine A10AR-CP combines three useful features in one basin trap: a chrome-plated finish, an adjustable inlet and a resealing trap design. This makes it a strong option for plumbers, bathroom fitters and maintenance teams working on visible basin waste pipework.
The adjustable inlet helps line the trap up with the basin waste outlet and existing pipework. This is useful on repair, refurbishment and replacement jobs where pipe positions may not be perfect. The chrome-plated plastic finish also gives a cleaner look below exposed basins compared with a standard white trap.
The resealing action helps retain an adequate water seal under syphonic conditions. This helps reduce the risk of the trap seal being pulled away by pressure changes in the waste system. The trap also has a 75mm water seal to help stop drain odours coming back through the basin waste.
The Multifit compression outlet is suitable for common waste pipe materials including plastic, copper and lead pipe. This gives installers more flexibility when connecting into existing basin waste pipework.

Why Choose a Chrome Resealing Adjustable Bottle Trap?

Installation Notes

Adjust the inlet height to suit the basin waste position, then tighten all compression nuts securely by hand.
