McAlpine A10R is a 32mm / 1¼” resealing bottle trap for basin waste installations. It is designed for bathroom basins, cloakroom basins, vanity units and general domestic basin pipework where a standard 32mm trap is required with added protection against syphonic conditions.

The resealing action helps retain an adequate water seal, even under demanding syphonic conditions. As a result, the A10R is useful on problem basin wastes where a standard bottle trap may not be the best option.
This trap has a 75mm water seal to help stop drain odours from coming back through the basin waste. It also features a Multifit compression outlet, making it suitable for common waste pipe materials including plastic, copper and lead pipe.

Installation Notes
Before fitting, check that the basin waste outlet and waste pipe size are suitable for a 32mm / 1¼” trap. Cut the waste pipe cleanly and make sure it is fully seated into the Multifit compression outlet. Tighten the compression nuts securely by hand, then run water through the basin and check all joints for leaks.
The A10R is the fixed inlet resealing version. If an adjustable inlet is needed, use the adjustable inlet resealing version instead.
