How to Use Metal Speed Plugs
Position the metal speed plug against the plasterboard at the required fixing point.
Use a suitable pozi or cross drive screwdriver to drive the plug into the plasterboard until it sits flush with the surface.
Place the item being fixed over the plug, then drive the supplied screw into the plug until secure. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the plasterboard or reduce fixing strength.
